So my AD called and looks like they are ending there relationship with Breitling. I have purchased 2 from him and my friend got his first yesterday (Colt auto with blue face with racer strap w/deployment).

So...they offered me 30% off any watch left in house.

Anyone interested, PM me and I will give you details so you can get one, two or all. Especially if you are local.

The manager called me and notified me, told me 30% all in house. I know this is not the best but the best I have seen locally.

My 2cd watch I purchased from him and got this discount...as well as my friend who picked up his Colt.

They stated that Breitling wanted more presence in the stores but Rolex get priority, they sell 5 Rolex for evey Ling...

So Breitling is pulling out...as is Panerai.

He said they could still send my Lings in for service and the watch guy on site is certified by BUSA to work on them.
They were real honest and always good to me, even called me to tell me about new watches that were in.

Yes, I am in Raleigh NC.

I think I read somewhere about your experience with them. My local one was always great. If I ever want a Rolex, I am going back to them.

Interesting indeed. It's tough to argue either although the economy has to factor in to some extent. I wonder if it's a sign that there is a change in approach (in North America at least) from the attitude of the last 10 years or so of 'expand the customer base as much as possible'. We all know that the US market is far from the centre of Breitling's universe but it's still a bit of a gamble.
