...for the dealer. Retail will remain the same but dealer cost is going up. Anybody else heard anything about this or know if its true?

Retail is staying the same, but dealer cost is going up. As far as I know they aren't waiting until April 1st, it will increase before then. Tag just increased prices too.. as well as a few other manufacturers.

Does this mean that the available discount will shrink at ADs? All things being equal I would think yes.

Something's gotta give... I'd expect those deep cuts to shallow up a bit.

So the net effect is that prices for consumers will be going up. Smart move in a bad economy.

Street price goes up without Breitling having to say that they increased pricing. Although to be fair, prices actually better align with other markets.

Yeah, it really sucks for the dealers though because they take the blame for the street price going up.

I just confirmed this with George who spoke with their Breitling rep. Their cost is going up so discounts won't be as generous as they have been in the past. I didn't get an exact date, but I'm guessing if you're thinking of buying, you might as well do it soon.
