If you need to have a custom order placed with BUSA, does it get filled from their Wilton, CT facility or is there another location?

If they have it in stock in CT they can get it out to the dealer quickly. If they dont have it I believe that CT order it from Switzerland and then forward it to the dealer, which takes considerably longer.

BUSA doesn't do anything 'custom'. Breitling do not produce every colour combination in the same numbers, and in some cases they make colour combos available, but only produce them in response to an order. BUSA as the distributor have access to a huge stock, and can respond to a customer order by rerouting pieces from inventory or assisting the AD to source from another AD. However, if the piece is truly custom - i.e. a piece that is listed by Breitling as a valid combination but not produced as part of a standard production run, then it has to be ordered from Switzerland and scheduled into production. That generally takes 3 - 4 months.

I took the OPs question to mean something along the lines as "order something that your AD doesnt have in stock" but maybe im wrong.
