not a fan pof the blue superavenger on crock, maybe black or white on bracelet, or white on croc, but not the blue

Think the bb is one of the best b's out there I wouldn't even put the sa in the same league

yeah polished or brushed, the Blackbird is a more refined watch then the SA. For me, it's not even close.

Ouch! Not alot of SA fans in here! Just wondering what's so inferior about the SA in your minds that it's out of the BB's league?

For the starters, the movement - caliber 44 with big date complication, 38 jewels, versus the 13.

Also the fact it has a special pilot bracelet with extra facets unique to any current Breitling.

But in the end, as Al hints, it comes down to what you like best on your wrist. Both are great watches and no one can be faulted for preferring the look of either one. Objectively, the BB has some extras, but we choose a watch based on objective and subjective factors.

blackbird is also is the last whit luminova lume in all hands, and 1 of the few whit black date window same as dial

Thanks for the info! I tried to research the Blackbird on the Breitling website, but my office PC can't display the Breitling Flash Player properly, so I wasn't able to learn about the movement or the additional features. I think it was displayed with an Ocean Racer strap, too, and I wasn't able access the configurator!

Can't wait to check it out at home!
