What is a fair price for a used Emergency Mission? I'd really like to pick up an Emergency on the second-hand market and for some reason, the Mission calls to me more. I think they are discontinued now? I've read that they have to be registered with the new owner?

Thoughts?

The best place to determine value is to look at completed auctions on eBay - the green numbers are the actual sales.

The Mission is now discontinued and transfer does have to be registered with Breitling and you will need to sign the ownership agreement around the transmitter.

Yea, I will head there next. I have used Elite Deal Seeker to look at WUS, TZ, etc but there have only been 2 Emergencys listed in the last 30 days.

Last month, I got an amazing deal on a second hand Emergency Mission white dial (3000Can$) and a couple of days later, I re-sold it for the same amount to a good friend
who wanted one badly. I just couldn't get used to that antenna pusher; it kept digging into my wrist.

I suggest you try one on to see if you really like it (if you can find one  ). Also be aware that this watch is very thick, borderline annoying (IMO of course)

I had snapped a quick one, just before I sold it....

Good luck.

I have a Emergency Mission - Orbiter 3 bought in 2000. Comes with a piece of the balloon that circles the earth. I love it, but seem to not wear it. Any ideas on what it is worth

THIS MIGHT BE A DUMB QUESTION BUT WHY ARE THE NUMBERS ON THAT EMERGENCY BACKWARDS?

If you mean the bezel, the EM has a countdown bezel rather than a regular one.
