Actually I bought a beige one off the bay the other week from a Canadian seller. The cap arrived in the UK within five days. Very good quality too, to be fair :)

It says it's an official Breitling product. I'm not so sure, but the quality is great. I paid £13.49 for it, which is about 27 US dollars including shipping.

Honestly for me, the cap was just confirmation that the dealer followed through with registration of my new SA. The cap just sits in the box it came in because it is really not my style. I saw two different guys walking into my AD wearing the caps and thought to myself "don't try so hard".

:yeahthat

Well said...... and I don't wear mine either.

I know what you mean - I've got 2 and I've never worn either outside of the house! Still worth having though!

I really need the hat. I'm balding and I heard that the Breitling Caps have the ability to grow back hair. Is this true?

Yep. Nothing available for us poor Brits :)

That makes me feel better, when i got my first Breitling just over six years ago (from an AD in Bath) I wasn't offered a cap. An American friend of mine told me I should have got one.

I'll make sure to ask for the form tomorrow when I pick up my Navitimer. :)

I purchased my SA back in May 07 and because I didnt receive the cap (registration confirmation) I called the AD in November and interesting enough it was confirmed that my registration form wasn't sent in. I guess if I didn't call to inquire chances are the form would have been discarded and the watch wouldn't have been registered. Within a few weeks I received my registration confirmation/gift from Breitling Canada.
