The lady i got it from said that they replaced this with an older version and made the face bigger.

How often does breitling come out with newer models/versions? Do you think they'll make a 46mm version?

hm....well the closest in size you are looking at near 46 is the 45 avenger skyland ...either that or the bigger 48 ones like the navi or the superavenger

Yes, I already know that. My question is how long do you think Breitling will take to come out with a chornomat evo in a 46mm....

(Seeing that they went from a smaller size in their previous chronomat.)

Personally I'd love it they did make a larger Chronomat as I my SA and World make things under 46mm look a little small to me. (This isn't just some sort of "large is better" statement by me - it's just that you get so used to the bigger watches so quickly that the smaller ones just don't cut it anymore).

All we can say for certain is that practically all of the latest Breitling models have been of a larger size than previous - the Montbrillant Legende (47mm), the SOH (46mm), the forthcoming SOH Chrono (46mm), and according to my AD the bigger models like the SA are very popular. So if Breitling take any notice of feedback from their customers and AD's then hopefully we can expect this larger watch trend to continue.

I hope not, the Evo is perfect the way it is. Just the right size for daily wear. By Bentley 6.75 is way too big to wear to work, but is perfect for a weekend night out.

Agreed.

Just go with the FULL LING, and you'll be satisfied. All other will fall short once you see a FULL LING on your wrist!

I agree, although I enjoy my larger size watches there is a time and place for a smaller watch which in most cases is dependent upon the occasion and attire.

I dont believe it would make sense for Breitling to offer all models in the 45+ sizes. On the other hand I was hoping that they would offered all models with the option of a black or white dial. For instance I would love to see a Skyland with a white dial :D

I couldn't agree more, It wouldn't be wise for breitling to have every watch the size of a 6.75, variety is key. I personally think the evo is a perfect everyday watch. It's not exactly small (Feels much manlier then a rolex gmt) but its not huge. I wear my evo everyday and last week I tried to wear my brothers 6.75 and I felt like I was going to hit it on every doorway I walked through, definitely a great special night out watch though, I plan on stealing it again shortly

If they came out with a 48 MM Evo it would sell like hot cakes. If they are watching the success of the SA I would assume that they are planning on launching some more large models

I kind of agree with acceldebt here. I'd love to see a larger version, somewhere in the range of 46-48 mm. That doesn't mean the existing model have to be discontinued, it could just be added to the windrider branch. As a matter of fact, it's not very unlikely this will happen. The Chronomat Evolution has, as you all know, dropped the "Evolution" from its name. Therefore it would be quite easy to add a new Chronomat Evolution II (or something similar) in a larger size...

The Super Avenger already Looks like the 48mm Evo!

I think a larger Chronomat Evo in time might be good idea... but I'd give this 44mm a few more years at least. It would be nice to have a larger Winderider watches with the Pilot Bracelet at 24mm wide.

IMHO I think there would be room enough in the range to keep the current Chronomat Evo (or just Chronomat as it is now called) and also have some kind of 46 - 48mm Windrider model as well. A "Chronomat Grande" or something! It would sell like hot cakes, no question.
