Degraded or not, I think that watch would look sweet on a dark brown strap.

That's a great looking watch.

And if your AD wants to unload that lightly used CSO at a great price, tell them to give me a call ;)

From your excellent photos, I actually thought the subdials were a lighter shade of blue than the rest of the dial. However, it looks like the subdials have a machined effect - the vertical lines - so they contrast with the dial, and different lighting gives them the effect of having a lighter colour. That looks great! I also saw an Avenger with the slate grey dial and PRO II strap the other day, and that looked incredible!
It is really artwork, the way that Breitling manages all these subtle details on the dials, with the machining and guilloched effects, all giving the watch and different look depending upon the lighting.
