My AD called today during work to say my new strap was in :) I bought it with my birthday money from my 21st :)

I think the blue croc goes really well with the blue face and steel and gold, coming from a tan pin buckle and later on a blue calf pin buckle with deep blue of the croc is my favourite! Ive wanted the blue for ages as my tan was kinda ruined when it was dropped in the fish tank!

Not sure on the deployment tho, not as neat as my grand Carrera, or as comfy I don't think. Maybe cos the strap is alot thicker and it will loosen a little with time.

It was very expensive, last time I enquired about the croc straps at the AD they were £330 but not have gone up too £410! Plus the £180 for buckle too! Dont think I would have paid this out of my pocket, but my birthday money covered it, and its somthing I can now keep :)

On another note, how much would this watch be to buy now on the croc and deployment? When I bought it (on a tan pin buckle croc) i paid £1575 while in the caribbean 2 years ago (when the dollar and pound were good)

THought you guys might like to see some pics, dont look that blue in them, but it is a deep blue like the face.

Thanks and looking forward to your thoughts

I guess a little overdue but happy birthday. It looks awesome and from what I have heard the straps do get more comfortable when they break in. I'm sure someone will chime in and let you know about how long it usually takes to break one in. Wear it in good health.
