Hi all I'm looking to sell my 1998 Blackbird to put towards my next aquisition (SOH)

I know it needs a refurb as the chrono hand will not return to the 12 position but this will obviously take 6-8 weeks and cost £340. My current train of thought is although it will come back looking fantastic if it only increases the value by £340 what is the point? I've lost almost 2 months for no advantage.....

Or will it be impossible to sell in it's current state.... It's not that bad considering it's ages and is on the SS bracelet.

What is the general rule with the seasoned Breitling collector?

You're better off selling it as is and let the buyer fix it. You won't be able to recover the money you spend on service if you turn around and sell it. You may get more, but not the full amount paid.
