Breitling website is now showing a new dial for the Avenger SeaWolf. Stratus silver with baton markers. With the same Caliber 17 driving both the SeaWolf and the Superocean Steelfish, these watches seem to be very similar. I was all set to buy a Silver dial Steelfish, but now the new dial SeaWolf would seem to be worth a look, at a similar price point. Steelfish is 44 mm diameter, vs. SeaWolf 45 mm. I guess the biggest difference would be the SeaWolf has polished face & bracelet, and Steelfish has brushed. Am I missing anything else here?

Hi
The Seawolf also has a brushed bracelet, Only the case sides are polished. I was torn between the Seawolf and the Skyland but when i held them both i went for the bling of the Skyland.

Finally found it the baton-marker version after searching both the Japanese site and the main Breitling site...... before eventually finding it on the "Configurator". (Like a terminator, but configures stuff!)

I must be honest, but I prefer the M*A*S*H style sencils on the Seawolf. The stratus silver looks OK, but I think the 'wolf is such a rugged watch it really suits the sencils IMHO.

They are both brushed. The differences are size, WR, and dial. Even though the size is only 1mm different, The Seawolf is much thicker and wears significantly larger. Side by side youll see a big difference.

That pic reminds me of another thought I had when I had my SF. The little ring around the dial on the SF makes the dial appear smaller than it is. No ring, combined with the larger overall size of the SW make it a much larger piece.

Who was it that said a picture is worth a thousand trips to the AD waiting for one to come in to see it! Very helpful. They are similar though, and I think each is worth looking at if you're interested in the other. Thanks!

Seelfish gets my vote. Just wish they´d make it with white dial.
