I was just thinking back over diffrent Breitlings I had owned when I came into a shock Conclusion I have bought the same models of Breitlings many times.

For example
4 Superoceans
4 Aerospaces
2 Chronospaces
3 Plutons
2 Navitimers
2 Transoceans
2 Chronomats
1 Colt Chrono
1 Top Time
1 Sprint

Its a desease I tell you why do we do it? I constantly buy a watch and latter sell it only to buy the same model again and again. Is it just me that does that or is it others as well.

I currently have
Navitimer 806 (1966)
Top Time 2002 (1964)
Sprint 2016 (1975)
Choronomat B13047 (80s)

I will buy again ASAP
Transocean
Pluton
Superocean
Aerospace
Chronospace

Dont tell the wife though :lingsrock:

I dont see them as mistakes I bought an original SO in 2000 and then changed it for a Pro version in 2001 as I prefered the brushed look, Then sold that in as I needed funds, Then bought another this year and only sold it when I wanted a Pro version again and only had it for three weeks before selling in to buy the 66 navi. Its still one of my fave Lings and I will have another soon. :lingsrock:

The Aerspoace was the first Ling I bought and they have a special place in my heart and I an see another one coming very soon.

Bought and sold nine different old style Aerospaces, some limited editions. My favorite, and the only one I wish I still had, was an olive green dial tu-tone itallic Repetition Minutes on bracelet although the first year cream dialed 'Navitimer' was a close second. I really like the light weight of the Aerospace. The new style Advantage doesn't really appeal to me, don't like the dial, but I do like the larger size.

Yeah it's just you Sony!

No, I'm done similar myself. I've owned 3 Steelfishes, 2 Navi Worlds, 2 Bentley Motors and 2 SA's - some at the same time too!

It's a disease.

No Sony............ it sounds like a very cunning plan to me…………….so cunning.

Your wife asks, "is that another new watch you have bought"

You can say, "no dearest, it’s the same old watch as before", and then select any one of the following.

A) I have just had it polished, wonderful job they have done, looks like new doesn’t it.
B) I have had the dial changed, I fancied the batons for a change.
C) Had a new strap fitted.
D) No, isn't it funny how in certain lights it changes colour, yesterday it looked blue, but today it looks black, etc etc.

Ian.

    Ian.

Good sir, We all owe you a debt. That is sheer genius. The dial change never occured to me!!! Wonder if I could buy an SABS and convince her that it is just a surface treatment for the old SA???? Hmmmmm. 8)
