Im about to pull the trigger on a new Breitling Navitimer. The only thing that is keeping me is the box and paperwork are the "old" style and the card says 02/09 . Is it possible that Breitling still issues the "old" style paperwork and box?

For example( I KNOW ITS A CHRONOMAT!)this kind of paperwork for a watch bought in 02/09?

When you say "new" do you mean new from an AD or a private seller? If it's from an AD is it NOS? I wouldn't think that box would still be provided with a new watch of recent manufacture.

This style box was used between 2002-2004. There have been four types since. Steve

If the box as happy_chappie says is from 02-04 and the paperwork (at least the date of sale) is from 2009, then the only thing that I can think of is that the watch was possibly bought NOS from an AD. I would think it unlikely however that a Navi would sit on the shelf for 5-7 years before being sold. More than likely the box is not original to the watch.
You might want to check the date stamp on the watch.

Where is the date stamp on the watch itself?
