Breitling Navitimer World?

Ho yes - found a marvellous excuse to bunk-off games at school today and drove to Toulouse where I was greeted with my World.

Quite a beast - doesn't wear as large as the Bentley, but then that's no doubt due to the dark face on the World. Not nearly as heavy either - crucial point for me. The leather strap (deployant) seems more comfortable than the Croco deployant I have on the Chronomat Evo...we'll see after a few days wear.

After reading O2AFAC67 description of how he takes his amazing photographs, I'm in the middle of finishing my 'box' complete with infinite background, where, this weekend, I hope to take some shots of the Navitimer - watch this space!

Right - here's my version:

Not up to the pictorial quality of O2AFAC67, but it's a start...

Gorgeous watch! I love how the World looks but never liked the 30m WR spec on all Navitimers.

Don't be modest. That's a very good picture.

Thanks everyone - the 30m w/r always put me off, but then I got to thinking that it IS such a classic, where would my 'collection' be without a Navitimer...

sportback, congrats on the watch. you guys are terrible, picking up such great watches, tempting me all the time. i might end up with a great watch collection trying to keep up with you guys, but i'm definitely going to end up divorced and in the poorhouse. haha. sweet watch though, and wear it in health. no problems with the gmt hand yet?
