aleister, its not that it is a rolex look-a-like (which i dont think it really is), but its more like the bezel is too wide, especially in comparison to the lugs and it seems to diminish the dial IMHO. i've seen some shots of the old SOs and i understand that they are doing a tribute watch, but i think somewhere something is just a little off. i just cant put my finger on it exactly.

Well if nothing else, with the SOH models Breilting have managed to make a couple of serious discussion pieces! It's odd how much these polarise opinion!

I think it's ok, and if I was going to buy a Rollie or PO I'd consider the SOH, and that's probably why Breitling made this model. The subdials spice up the face without making it too busy.

I really like it. In spite of the fact that the SOH shares similarities with Omega and Rolex, the Breitling really shines in my opinion. On the chrono, I wishe they had used the B44 movement with the big date calendar that they have on the Blackbird, I think that would look even better, although I guess it is such a new movement it would not be in keeping with the heritage look.
Recently, I have really started to appreciate the SOH line. I looked at the various Omega watches with the similar bezel and the bronze colours, but I just did not think they come anywhere near the looks of the Breitling. I am also a fan of the large hands.
Cheers,
Carl

I wish the pushers for the chronograph functions were screwed down as well.
Cheers,
Carl

I think they have got it right with this one, love the simplicity of it.
Gets my vote

Agreed. I really love the SOH Chrono, but yet another watch with the Breitling 13 movement is just a little bit of a shame. Not that there is anything wrong with the B13 at all - it's just a bit of a missed opportunity to do something a little different - after all, the Chronomat, the Cockpit Chrono, the SA, the CA, the Skyland, the SO Chrono are all B13's. In fact the Navi World is also basically a B13 but with a GMT module.... As a movement it's everywhere!
