Hi i questions about the modell headwind if its have been manufactured with a little clock on the strap (used for a sekond timezone i hope) cause if been finding several picture on the net witch has this. Is it somebody who has been taking it from another model of breitling?.

If its real original i want to buy it cause ithink then its the moste complete watch you can buy who has everything.

automatic
waterproof
sekondtimezone
good design
resnoble price
quality watch

problem is for me were to buy one who is real original
can someone tell me a little bit more about this model that ive know not are manufactured anymore?

I don't recall the HeadWind having a second time zone. I know its on a Pilot bracelet and has a day an date complication.

Leo, I'm guessing you are indeed referring to the UTC module here, in which case then yes they were available on all models if so desired. The Headwind is discontinued now anyway, so you'll be looking to the second-hand market if you want to get hold of one. I don't think they were hugely popular so you probably won't find as many around compared to say, a Chronomat. And you'll definitely find fewer still with the UTC module.

However, by happy chance there's one for sale on eBay, with the UTC(!) to get you started!! :)

The UTC module has me beat - I mean it's a nice comfortable size clock, perfect for small wrists, and then some useless bugger with more money than sense sticks a stonking great chrono onto the side of it...now what is the point?

Seriously tho...does anyone with a UTC module actually use it? Now be honest...

Shouldn't it be used as frequently as people use their GMT pointer? All there is to it is showing a different time zone, or have I completely misunderstood? But sure, if I had one it could be interesting to show Arizona time as well as my standard time (just in order to keep track on Superbowl XLII - Go Giants!).

Yep, that's all there is to the old style UTC module. The newer Co-Pilot does a little more than that however, with a chronograph function and a couple of extra things as well.

Yeah it is digi. Looks OK with an Aerospace, Emergency or Airwolf though IMHO.

I don't have a Breitling with UTC function but two of my Sinns and one of my Tag Heuers have it, and I really like that functionality for travelling purposes. I leave my main hour hand set for my home timezone and set the second time zone for wherever I am. That way I don't have to synchronise when the plane lands.

I am sort of considering a Rolex GMT II-c for the same reason.
