I've been shopping for a SOH. I'm new to Breitling, so I'm hoping someone here can help. Personally, I'm not a fan of the mesh bracelet that comes with the SOH. It would be a cool thing to wear occasionally, but I'm looking for something more conservative to use on a daily basis. Are any of the other steel bracelets compatible with this watch (Pilot, Professional 2, etc.)? The AD said I could just buy the SOH head and then pick any steel bracelet and it would fit, but I'm skeptical.

If the answer is "no", is it because the bracelet literally won't attach to the watch or because of some other reason? If there is more than one compatible bracelet, which one works / looks the best? Please help. Thanks.

Your AD is wrong. Each model Breitling has a specific end link (the piece that connects the bracelet to the case) that only fits a specific model. So technically, a 22mm pro II from a skyland is the exact same bracelet as the pro II from the airwolf, but they both have a different end link. The problem for the SOH is that there are no bracelet end links for it.

That shows a serious lack of knowledge from that AD. Amazing that they'd say soemthing like that.

RJ is absolutely right.

Well, technically if you remove the end link, any 24mm bracelet will fit, but it will look ridiculous :)

Well, I'm bummed, but kind of expected that answer. I assume that all the rubber and leather straps are available in the right size. I like the SOH because of the clean lines and lack of clutter on the face and bezel. The bracelet is just a bit too out there for my taste.

Also, are there decent aftermarket steel bracelets out there that would be compatible?

Thanks again!
