Post subject:  adjusting pins?

is that what theyre called? ok, just got my new coral SO today, my 1st. thanks to Justin! since im sooooo impatient, i'm thinking about adjusting the bracelet myself. it almost fits, but i can get it to slide around my wrist. so, im thinking maybe just adjusting the pins and not having to remove a link. i've watched the video here and the link looks relatively easy with the right tools. but, i think maybe i just need to move the pins a bit. whats the easiest way to do that? are they springs, so, push then in a bit and will they pop out for adjustment?

thanks all, opened the box a few hours ago but havent taken the plastic off the bracelet yet, LOL. figured i'd wait till i attempt the adjustment. if i get stuck i do have some AD's nearby.

I guess your talking about the micro adjustment on the clasp? If so, just get anything thats small enough to fit into the little hole and push. The spring bars are spring loaded on each side. Just pop one out and youll figure it out.

Make sure not to use a hard object (or be very careful not to scratch the bracelet). A wooden toothpick normally does the trick for the micro-adjustment unless you already have the proper tool.

toothpick worked perfectly. seems to fit great. thanks all! 1 more quick question. i moved the pin so its in the hole closest to the safety clasp. think thats fine? on other watches it tends to leave the end of the claps hanging a bit so i could catch it on something. but on this SO, it all looks tucked in close to the bracelet, so i think its probably fine.

It will be fine.

If you are that worried remove a link and put the micro adjuster on the widest setting for a similar fit.
