hi everyone i am a noob to this board so bare with me if my questions seem stupid. i am going to make my first breitling purchase fairly soon. I am looking to get a bentley motors t black dial. as you know shopping for authenticity and prices are any watch owners 2 main concerns. i came across this site from searching interwatches.com customer reviews and noticed that there were a number of memeber from this board that has dealt with them. i know that dealing with them gives most people the opportunity to own this quality watch at a discounted price. however in 2009 breitling re did the sub dials on their bentley motos line and cleaned up some of the tachometer numerals. the new 09 models have chrome around the sub dials. also the motors that is advertised on interwatches does not come with a foldable leather clasp. The price as advertised is 4400 on their site and the only color they have is white. do you guys think that if i can get the watch i want with the updated sub dial and foldable leather clasp its wroth it to spend and addtional 1000? thanks in advance. PS any chance that interwatches would rip off a new client??? |

Interwatches sells genuine watches - it's not good business to rip off clients. However, I doubt that they will have the updated models yet. If you are in the US, PM jnelson3097 for contact details of George at Govberg for an accurate quote on the updated watch. In terms of whether it's worth it - only you know that. If the updated one is the one you want then why settle for something else would be my perspective. The flip side is why pay more for the updated model if you prefer the earlier one. Alos bear in mind that you aren't paying the extra money just for the updated look, you are also getting a factory warranty and the peace of mind that the watch isn't a refurbished / returned example. |

Well if you reside in Canada that's easy - check your PMs in a couple of minutes ![]() Would grey market resell a returned watch - absolutely. They can't return it to Breitling!!!!! |

The thing that's far more important for a (reasonably) long-term investment is service. With an AD, you know that Breitling, upon servicing the watch, will not return it or bin it for being fake or otherwise something Breitling doesn't want to see. That far and away counters a few hundred bucks you might save - although there's no guarantee you'll save anything going grey-market. |

I have bought 2 already from George and a third one coming. He is fantastic. You can search him out on this site and see for yourself. He will, but import duties and taxes kill the deal in Canada. Fortunately there's a tame Canadian AD as well ![]() |
