Maybe its just me but there doesnt seem to be much info re the Legende, is this a lesser popular model.......if so why is it not more prominent........are there reasons guys dont fancy the Legende ?

The Legende is a fairly new model, and it is a fairly expensive model relative to some which will put some buyers off. Additionally, it is large at 47mm it is part of the Navitimer range and many 'big Breitling' fans will go for the Navitimer World in that range with the additional GMT function.

It also has the integrated bracelet which makes it less attractive to people who prefer straps.

I love the Legende!! Ive always wondered the same , why dont people love this watch? I agree that its because you cannot put a strap on it and nothing more!

It cant be the size, as plenty of guys go for the Super Avenger which is a tad bigger9Me included)........i have just bought a new winder and the cover which shuts down to cover the contents is just too small so it as to stay open slightly.........but the winder seems to be working oK...........the legende will have to get more scrutiny if im to buy one.

The point that I was trying to make on size was that people looking for a big Navitimer are more likely to look at the World with the additional complication.

Personally, I love the Legende! It was my first Breitling. I fell in love with the size and then the versatility of looks that it presents even without offering strap options. You can wear this watch in a dressy or casual environment and it keeps it's allure all the same. I'm glad I took I chance on this watch, it's easily one of my favorites.

I love mine too, I don't even miss being able to put a strap on it.

Wears as well with jeans as with a dinner jacket. Very versatile.
