Hello chaps I'm looking at buying a new watch and was initially interested in a navitimer. I have subsequently seen the navitimer world, which I prefer - I currently wear a U boat so am used to quite a large watch. I've seen this one below: ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a 2007 model, if anyone can give me a bit of a steer towards what I should be paying for it I'd really appreciate it. Cheers. Tom |

i'd take a stab value-wise and say around 3.4k depending on condition and warranty, although imo prices have crept back up a little. the one currently on the bst looks very nice, if ur in london (as name suggests) then that's a good price. the seller is about 30-40 min from me i guess, since he's new if u guys need help closing the deal lmk if i can do anything. |

Hi, New in the UK £5000, possibly some discount on that 10-15%. Second hand £2500 to 3000 for good condition. The braclet is £700 to 800 new. Sent you a PM with some second hand dealer addresses, check around the rest of the Breitling models before you decide. Check fleabay for current selling prices. Ian ![]() |

If it is a dealer then the price is expected, but if it is used and private, then its too high. |

While I actually think that 2700 is probably OK for the UK, I'd have to agree with Mark given that NONE have sold on the Bay recently despite having prices as low as £2500 for the a bracelet model, and £2100 for a strapped version. ![]() |

How much tax do you pay, percentage-wise? |

I've bought 3 watches from the US in the last 18 month and have been charged 17.5% on the first 2 and 15% on the last one (December). VAT is up to 17.5% now so that is what you will be charged on top of your purchase price(IF declared) from the US. I would imagine all the AD's in the USA will declare the value of the watch too customs for insurance purposes! If you are doing a private deal you will be taking a chance on not declaring a value but you could save a few hundred £££'s on your purchase but thats a chance you take! Cheers |
