I received my SA on 12/10/12 via FedEx from Govberg Jewelers, with the time already set.
Last week I reset the time synced to the USNO Master Clock. Since then, as of this morning, it has gained 1:08. Is this because the movement is still settling? I read that it can take a month or two to settle, during which time it could keep less than optimal time.
Should I reset the time again and see what it does?
I wear the watch around 17 hours a day, and rest it on it's side, crown up, at night.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I assume that's 1 minute 8 seconds and not 1 hour 8 minutes!

I min 8 seconds in 7 days equates to almost 10 seconds a day which a quite a bit outside of the COSC tolerance of -4/+6 secs a day. Yes, a watch can settle down a bit over the course of a month or so, but I've a feeling it'll still be on the fast side. If I was you I'd give it a week or so more and if it's still fast, pop it into an AD for regulation.

Oh yeah, my bad. Make that "00:01:08"!!
I'm gonna go ahead and reset it now to the USNO clock again and see what it does over the next week, and then maybe stop by the local AD.
Will any AD be able to regulate it? I bought it from PA, but I'm in MA, and the closest AD's are 30-45 min. away. I suppose I could always call first...

They certainly should be able to, especially as you're in the States. Just make you take the warranty booklet with you and they'll sort it out for you.

Great, thank you. I just reset it and will be watching over the course of the next week and then will bring it to an AD.
I'll keep you updated!
