It has gone to the authorized repair center to give it a buff to give the Titanium's original brushed look, crystal change, and gasket changes.

The crystal when I got it didn't have the outer AR any longer. It seems to have been buffed out. The movement is still keeping good time so no movement service yet, but I've decided to have the gasket and seals changed.

It will be a long two weeks!!!!

I know how you feel! I only had my SuperOcean in twice over the past 10 years, and I really was missing it! Hope yours CA gets back soon, or you will have withdrawal! I actually thought by the heading of your post that it had gone missing or was stolen. If you look at it that way, it makes this absence a lot easier to take.
Cheers,
Carl

Nice of you to give it a little bit of special attention... :) Do you know what these things will cost you? If not, it would be interesting to hear when you get the bill. Then I know what to expect if I do the same thing with mine...

Just last week I received a quote from Breitling for the service on my 1997 chronomat. The watch had required service of "Complete Service Kit, New Gaskets, New Gold Hands, Test, Clean, and Rewaterproof." The cost for this required service was $482.00 USD. The cost for replacing the crystal was an additional $145 USD.

I was a little surprised at the high cost of the service for the movement. The watch was keeping perfect time when I sent it in. However, the stop watch functions (I believe the correct term is chronograph functions) were not working properly.

Ah well, I guess that is the price you pay to have a nice watch.

Breitling Canada quoted me $490 for the new crystal alone + taxes and labour.

I negotiated the price down to $490 including taxes. This price already has the new gaskets, pressure test, time the movement and buffing the case/bracelet to factory.

I will receive it next Friday.

Thanks a lot for that info - I'll let you know if the Scandinavian prices differ (I expect they do, but not to my advantage) when I do the similar in a couple of months.
