WOW look at this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Breitling-RA ... 20aebf94ee

THE PRICE IS £500
500.00 GBP = 794.259 USD

This beautifully embroidered GENUINE Breitling sponsored Pilot’s limited edition flight jacket was acquired from an RAF Typhoon Eurofighter pilot. This is a limited edition jacket in steel grey that matches that of the aircraft paint scheme and helmets worn by the RAF pilots of 29 Squadron. Not available for purchase in shops, this highly sought after jacket is an extremely rare find and is a must for a professional aviator or collector of Breitling memorabilia.

The Breitling watch that was acquired with the jacket has been sold separately but was from a Limited Edition of 50 Breitling Professional Aerospace watches brought out to commemorate the introduction of the Typhoon Eurofighter into service with the RAF, the face of the watch being inscibed with the Typhoon official logo and outline drawing.

The jacket bears the manufacturers label: Jacket, Flyers CWU-45/ P(N) and is wonderully warm. Brand new with original tags as pictured.

Size: Large

Chest: 40”

Collar to lower hem: 28”

Shoulder to sleeve cuff: 25”

Good luck bidding on this most desireable item.

I'd hazard a guess, it's because it's an interesting thing which many of us would like to see, and not him trying to sell it.
Are you now modding on here too?

Nice jacket, if only it was a little larger.

I don't see any issues with Sonyman posting that on the discussion thread, he's not selling it, merely highlighting an item of interest with a bit of provenance to it.

Actually getting a bit cross now.

Roff and Driver8 frankly have a great Moderating style (which is the main reason I for one am here).

I think it is VERY rude for a 'mod' from another forum to post here questioning them.

Rant over - off down the pet shop to buy a small animal take it home and kick it.

Hugely over priced Sonyman agreed, I got the humor of your OP.

I also think it is being misrepresented and if I was in the RAF would complain about the seller using pics like that as a sales aid.

I dont think the RAF would be happy about its name or images being used to sell an item like that, Especially as its a business doing it not even a private individual I would also be more happy if some of the cash was going in aid of service personal as well say 25% but I dont think it will even sell and we will slowly see it come down and down till it gets to point when someone will buy it I guess the £200-£250 is where it should be I deffo wouldnt pay more than that anyway.

Great post Sonyman! I just wouldn't pay that kind of money for any jacket and that does seem a lot dearer than ones I've seen banded around so its a thumbs down from me!

Cheers

My apologies. I only asked a question. I mistakenly took it as a sales post and no, of course I'm not modding here.

The jacket is indeed interesting.
