Guys

Just thought id say hi. Love watches - all sorts. Have an ebel 1911 Chrono - Rolex Datejust - Tag heuer Carrera.

Just had my 40th birthday in December and have been looking at Breitling for some time. After much research etc, i decided on the Montbrilliant Datora, bronze face, Brown strap (all my other wated are silver/gold/black so wanted a Brown watch.. So went to NY just before xmas to celebrate birthday, and with the plan to get the Datora. When i saw it, it was just too busy for me - devastated. However, they had a ltd edition Navitimer 125 Anniversary that looked perfect. Its the Panamerica dial and i had them replace the black strap with a Brown strap.

I have to say, I am delighted with it, its a beautiful watch that will definetly be a keeper.

A couple of quick questions if i may:

What can i expect in terms (is acceptable) of -/+ sec's a week on this watch.?
Is the first service free?

Thanks in advance and also a big thank you for the very informative site that has definetly helped me decide to go Breitling.

Bully.

Welcome Bully!

The 125th is a gorgeous watch, congratulations on your purchase!

Tho only official free 1st service is on the Emergency and Emergency Mission as I recall, BUT if you are a really good customer at your AD, they might forgo the charge of sending it in for it's first one.

In any case, enjoy your 1st Breitling, and welcome to the forum!

As Davey says, no official free first service.

In terms of accuracy, it's COSC certified so -4 / +6 seconds per day is the limits. As a watch guy I am sure that you know that it will take a few weeks to settle and yoy may not see that accuracy immediately.

Oh, and welcome to BreitlingSource and the Breitling famliy (and belated Happy Birthday).

Hi Bully,
Congrats on the 125th annaversary Navi. It's a beauty. :lingsrock:
The broze dial is absolutely stunning and it looks so much better on a leather strap than the bracelet.
I tried to get this watch myself, but it turns out they didn't import that dial color to scandinavia  Black dials only.

As mentioned before the accuracy will improve gradually over a couple of months.
Mine are down to a steady 4-5 s/day.

Now...pics or it didn't happen...

OK guys - sorry for the delay. Been stuck in the house for 9 days with the snow in the UK, car abandoned, boiler blew up, water pipe burst - the joys of winter and having a 300yr old house.

Still no excuses. Iphone picture below - doesnt really show how georgous this watch is - but its a start until i get the SLR out.
