I have never been offered an extended warranty at an AD. Of course I only have purchased new Breitlings at the AD and they have a 2 year from Breitling. This warranty would be one from them not Breitling. Was this on a new or pre-owned watch??

Interesting. I wonder if they are in the need of raising capital and therefore using the 200.00 advance payment as a way of bringing needed cash in now and worrying about repairs later. Are they a service center as well as a dealer? I have never been to one of their stores.

I honestly didn't even get into the details. I was really just trying to price the superocean. The price actually wasn't too bad.

I think Tourneau do this fairly regularly. They offer a 3rd year through the store which I assume will cover any work that needs doing by them or Breitling (as they are Breitling AD). Depending on what's covered it might not be a bad deal - if you can get a basic service done after almost 3 years of ownership then it might be worth it.

That said, Tourneau don't have a great reputation for discounting so it may end up costing a lot more than $200.
