Oh dear. It is awesome, and it's a total mystery to me why breitling used that particular face with that model only, since it's just too cool with the engraved circular pattern and all. The only reason that I can think of is that it looks, perhaps, a bit too newfangled for more conservative buyers.

Is that blue or black by the way? Can't really tell.

That circular pattern (doesn't have to be circular) is called Guilloche.
I think Colt Auto II is better suited for more conservative buyers than SO.
It's black.

well all bought and paid for now its all mine I tell you mine
well at least it will be when it gets here in about 8 days

The watch is near mint and has the full complement of inner/outer box and all paper work.
Dial is black with the Hershey dive strap. The watch has been worn with a leather strap (not included) so the dive strap is flawless.

Accurracy has been well within COSC standards.

I still feel the need for closure regarding the ever-present colt vs superocean dilemma.
Sure, you can say steelfish and trump both in terms of sheer presence, but is the extra size worth the (subjectively) less elegant dial?
