Thinking about getting my 5 weeks old Navi regulated. It's running very close to the +6 seconds a day. Sometimes a bit faster, sometimes a bit slower. Will the watchmaker leave a lot of toolmarks from opening the watch? If yes, I will rather live with it being a bit fast until next service. |

They shouldn't leave any toolmarks if they have the proper tools. That said, I wouldn't regulate a 5 week old watch, I would give it another few weeks to settle. Also, if it overnights laying flat on it's back try laying it on its side (crown up), that might help. |

Yep, what Roff said. I've had my B01 running continuously for 2.5 months and it's only now beginning to settle down. It initially kept +2 sec/day, but then moved to nearly +6 sec/day. All this time, I was laying it down at night in different positions. I finally started to routinely lay it on it's side, crown up, and it's literally gained 2 seconds in the past week! I'm actually really astonished. I just hope it stays this way . . . -Craig |
