Hi

i can buy a chronomat with gold features and a steel/gold pilot bracelet.

now the crown and pushers are gold to,but on the crown i see a piece of silver colour.

does that mean its gold plated?

you are correct. two-tone chronomats have gold PLATED pushers and crowns.

so the watchis eleven years old incl box and papers.

little signs of wear.

and that crown ofcourse.

he wants 1750 euro!

is that to much?


by the way i looked at the bracelet and saw that the so called gold pieces
were steel with a layer of gold.
so not really solid gold also.

That's a bit on the high side i suppose, but not sure how the markets are in Europe.. its not ridiculously high, but with a worn crown i would not be happy. The rider tabs are solid gold, but the links in the bracelet are like a sheet of gold wrapped around a stainless core... i think they called it rolled gold.. like the pretzel.
