Hi guys,

I am about to pull the trigger on a Steelfsih X-plus. I just can't make up my mind between dial colours. I wear normally mostly white and black shirts. I really like the blue dial but am afraid that this won't look nice with a black shirt.... Black and silver are ok to me....

PLEASE HELP ME CHOOSE.....

I had a black one, and if its any consolation, it appeared to be navy blue a lot of the time because the dial was shiny and the AR coating just made it look that way. On the contrary, my Skyland has a matte black dial and always looks completely black.

Would definitely be the black for me. Not sure I'd like the blue and would always look at silver thinking ...damn white would probably be better.

i was in this situation a few weeks ago and finally decided on the black dial. I wear mostly blue, white and black, and the black dial goes with everything. The coating on the crystal gives it a blue tint at times, which could make the dial appear to be both blue and black...the blue dial is beautiful too, i just feel that the black is more conservative, goes with almost anything, and has the added benefit of appearing blue and black. good luck!

The funny thing is the blue can probably look black depending on how the light hits it. So buy black to get blue, and blue to get black...

but regardless of choice, choosing your first ling you're on the right track. :lingsrock:

I'd choose black. I used to have the silver one, never really warmed up to the dial as much as I thought I would.

I have a black and a white (silver) Steelfish so I can offer a valid opinion. My black one is on a Ocean Racer strap and it screams casual (looks just like the dive watch it is). The white one is on a Pro2 bracelet and it definitely looks less casual and would look good in a business setting as well as jeans and a t-shirt. Take into concideration that the "white" steelfish isnt really white. It is a creamy silver type color.

Either dial color (including blue) is a good choice. I suggest several different straps and a bracelet. The simple act of changing the the strap / bracelet creates a totally new appearence and a different watch all together.

Go get them on your wrist at an AD, each of the colors and the right one will become obvious to you.

I vote for the black dial.
