It appears that Breitling just came out with a new Avenger Seawolf dial with batons instead of numerals:

http://www.breitling.co.jp/products/new ... er_series/

I have to say, I really love that! I think I may really want one of those now, if I can get used to the thickness of those things!

Why does the Japan website always seem to have the new dials and styles on their website before anyone else? The official English website is always way behind on updates with new models.

The Japanese market gets a lot of things the rest of the breitling world doesn't, it's special edition central over there! I wouldn't be suprised if we don't ever see these.

I like the seawolf, alas far too substantial for my wrists! But I think I prefer the numbered dial. :?

The numbered dials are much more interesting to look at!

Not keen on the Seawolf with battons, I think the stencil numbers makes the watch for me.

The Chrono versions look quite good with battons as you don't have a dial full of chopped numbers where the sub-dials have eaten into them

Love those dials! It's always good to see more dial options available.

The seawolf chrono is :wowzers

The change is starting to make too many of the models all run together and look too much the same for my taste.
I personally like the uniqueness of the "MASH" numbers :0)
I'm glad I have my AS !

I am with both of you. I am currently gathering the funds for a white baton dial avenger. I tried the super and got dominated by that watch, it was just too big for me.

I hear ya. That Seawolf looks like a Colt II twin.

I'm a huge fan of the "MASH" numbers, too. So much, in fact, that my new Avenger is on it's way from BUSA right now, courtesy of George @ Govberg's. Black face, SS numbers on the Pro II. :wowzers

This will be my first step into the world of really fine watches. Should have my new baby just in time for Christmas!
