I am getting ready to ship a watch. Is it better to ship with the crown screwed in or out? TIA John |

I don't know the answer to your question (although I would guess crown screwed in), but be careful shipping with UPS and Fedex. Even though they will happily charge you for insurance, their insurance does not cover jewelry or watches. So if they loose or damage your shipment, tough luck for you. USPS registered mail will insure watches, although it is significantly slower. ///M |
