I passed on it, but seems like a great deal.

It's being sold by a member of this forum. And it's the mechaquartz version.

I have another TZ piece in mind right now

Hmmm... well I'm curious now Roff.

But it goes without saying, proceed with the usual caution. I have no experience with this seller.

Nothing wrong with the seller (that I know of), I didn't mean to imply that. I wouls just choose not to deal with him for non commercial reasons.

Me too!

I'm guessing it's not a CA Ratty for two reasons - firstly, I can't find one for sale on-line after running a number of searches, and seondly if there was one for sale, I'm damn sure Roff would've kept totally quiet about it until it was safely in his grubby hands!

Sorry, not meaning to be cryptic, just don't want to re-open closed issues. The seller had a large number of opinions a few months ago about two watches that I had for sale. I don't see the need to deal with him.

I know this seller well....

He sold me a perfect 18K Callistino that I would need to surgically remove from my wife's arm.

I have had many conversations with him as well, very knowledgeable.

Totally stand up guy...

BTW... I believe that this is the watch.... Jeez.... I may need one..

Are you in on the mechanical version too txturbo?

Of course this is purely hypothetical as I've never seen one for sale, but they have to be out there somewhere!

I've bought three Breitlings from that seller in the last couple of months. Also sold him one. Absolutely no problems with any of the transactions. In fact, he's the guy I call when I need a few pointers on the newer B's. A real watch guy that's always a pleasure to talk to. Am contemplating two more purchases off him now. :lingsrock:

I would love to have one...

BTW....

I was just looking at the database on this watch.
Image

The database needs to be updated to list a "G" model... Stainless steel with White 18K bezel.

To be clear......

I never said, nor implied that this was a problem seller.

I said that it was a seller that I chose not to deal with. That decision has absolutely nothing to do with his watches, or the way that he conducts sales.

@txturbo - I'll let admin know.

Wow,
Nothing gets by the guys on Breitling source. Yes it is Mega-Qartz. :D

Yes, the Chronoracer 69 is my post. it is a good deal and a beauty. It is a combination of mechanical and quartz, for the best of both worlds (take that hanna montanta  )

Now about the ChronoAvenger Rattrapante 69
I also own two of the three versions of the Chrono-avenger Rattrapante 69
1. the 600 Pc limited edition (megaquartz)
2. The 100 pc limited edition with the USA flag (which coincidentally came out after 9/11, but was not related at all)
3. (the one i dont have) the fully automatic WHITE Gold rattrapante limited to 25 pieces i believe...it is a ghost. I found one, but the price :(

Oh, dont forget the Rattrapante Flyback...another fave

I will be selling #1 and #2 at some point.

These are some of my favorite models. I love a display back. In fact, i was shocked the new B01 did not have one....go figure

If you have any questions about the chronoracer, let me know, I am more than happy to answer. i have a ton of great references.
