My new Steelfish has been on a winder for about 1 1/2 weeks due to me working a lot of hours lately. It's running 5 seconds (total) fast over that period of time, which is great from what I've read on the various fora. My question is will this change much when I DO get the opportunity to give it some extended wrist time?

5 seconds fast is great... my watches tend to run a bit faster when on the winder for an extended period of time, however that could depend on the movement, the winder, and other factors.

Accuracy also depends on the positioning when the watch is at rest on the winder, and temperature.

COSC is between -4 to +5 sec per day. 1.5 weeks and gains +5 sec is awesome!

My Chrono Avenger has been spot on for 48 hrs to date.

I have noticed the same experience with my Steelfish if I leave it in a winder for more than a day. I second the opinion that the difference seems to lie in the fact that the watch is being fully wound and then remaining in somewhat different positions than what is encountered while wearing it. When it is back on my wrist it seems to return to the usual +2 sec. per day.

Agreed. My Breitlings and past Omegas always run very slightly faster in the winder compared to on the wrist.

My old Tag Aquagraph however ran so fast in the winder that I was tempted to take the crystal out and use it as a fan!!!
