Not white gold, unfortunately. It's polished steel.

I thought they were steel with a white gold or rodium plating applied? I could well be wrong though.......

Believe that only WG part is dial logo.

Agreed, the logo is definitely WG (solid I believe, but it's only pressed anyway, so it's pretty thin), but I guess I was wrong about the markers.....

Trumped by the experts!

Whatever is the case, D8 and bnewbie are about a thousand times more likely to be correct than me.

I thought the hands and stick markers were white gold... but I based this on the Chronomat Evo which I believe are?? No??

Trying to think where I absorbed this info from... maybe the book that we got from the AMOC club? I'll need to go read it again.

The hands on Breitings are made to be "disposable"...they are replaced with every service. Therefore, they are made from steel or (for yellow gold watches) brass. At least this is what I read in a thread a couple of months ago.

Definitely not WG, as mofongo says hands are treated as disposable items by Breitling.

Not sure on the rhodium plating, and have been trying to find out, hence my delay in replying. It might make sense from a longevity standpoint on markers, but I don't know enough about material science to know whether you can get that high a gloss finish on rhodium plating.

I stand corrected.

A quick google search did yeild some results of rhodium plating on hands. But you can't believe everything you read on the net LOL!
