I think I will try NOT running the chronograph however, how would the battery drain? I wear it all the time!

Hello ya'll, So I have a 2009 Chronomat Evolution and I was playing with the chronograph and I thought that I would set it to the second hand on my MacBook just to see how accurate the times are. A day later I noticed that the time was about 10 seconds off. Now, about a week later the time is about a minute off! Then, (this might sound dumb) I figured that I would give it another shot... I went to some website to find the "Exact" EST time and programed my chronograph to that.... to make a short story shorter SAME THING HAPPENED! wtf..... Is my watch off? I hope not, it is practically brand new and has never fell or anything that could possibly mess up the movement inside! Help please, opinions would be great! |

Watcha, Does your Macbook (I have the black) sinch with an atom clock? And (sorry to ask) do you keep your B fully charged? All of my Bs keep pretty much spot on since 06 on atomic checks (worth a atom) |

I had a similar issue with my Chronomat Evolution which was resolved by returning it to the AD see link viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11139 |

There's likely nothing wrong. If it's brand new then it will take a few weeks to settle, then it should be within COSC specs of -4 / +6 seconds per day. |

I would check the watch against an atomic clock instead of the Mac (or PC in my case) - I just don't trust my laptop's timekeeping. |

So, to clear things up.... even though the watch is obviously an automatic one and I wear it all the time, running the Chronograph will slow the actual time of the watch down? Is that correct? I checked it today again after programming it to an atomic clock on the internet and its loses about 5-6 seconds daily. I am basically just looking for an answer here to why this is happening lol I know for a fact that the watch has never fell or anything so it can not be the watch itself, unless something happened during the manufacturing process. |

I do do that every night, it losing about 5-6 seconds per day! Sorry, didn't realise that it came off every night. If it's losing 5-6 seconds on it's back then get it regulated - they'll time it exactly and get it adjusted for you. Just make sure that you wear it for a while before the regulation to give it a full mainspring - as it's a daily wearer that will be the most accurate. |
