Is the Chrono Avenger considered a 3/4 Ling?

I think that's the rule.

NO,

The CA is not 3/4 of a LING because it's not polished and has that Titanium, DULL finish that looks like it has been baked in a Pizza oven. It's a cool watch but it barely qualifies as 1/2 a LING. If it was polished it could be 3/4 of a LING. Without polish it looks like it's designed for wearing while mixing Cement on a construction site.

:uplaugh: You should submit that description to the Oxford English Dictionary as a new definition of titanium, Ling Man!

I can see it now -
"Titanium (noun) - Metal of dull finish that looks like it's been baked in a pizza oven. Applications include fabrication of watches to be used while mixing cement on a construction site."

I'd buy a copy!

Driver8,

Yeah you summed it up quite nicely. And if you want to see it for yourself take the movement out of one of your Stainless Lings, put it in a Pizza oven for an hour at 550 degrees and it will look like Titanium or some other DULL "tool" related metal like a shovel blade.

25% off? Hmmmmmm, I'd probably ask them to take of the 25% that is mineral deposit! It'd be a nice looking watch then!

Not really... In my world, that's more a definition of "bad taste" rather than "full Ling".
