Hi I been a Breitling owner for many years now, and am very very happy with them, as my main watch I use every day, My Stainless steel and gold chronograph, needs slight attention, although it is full insured and this covers all repairs and losses. I am and have been living in Thailand Bangkok, for the past 10 years, my insurance and cover although world wide, may not be accepted here. I will have to chat with the company in London on this matter, but I am not in London right now, and have no current plans on returning to the UK.

I need a Breitling authorized, repairer, and not anyone else. Is there such a thing in Thailand? And in the Bangkok area. The problem is and it is just a small thing that I have just noticed, the date will not turn, when I set the watch in the date adjusting position. It turns if I move the hands forward 24 hours at a time, but not when I try to adjust the date in the correct adjustment.

Do you feel, I should live with this, until I return back to the UK, or have an authorized repairer fix the problem now. I don't wont to be without a watch for any length of time, and my second watch a blue rolex submariner, is locked up in my safe back in the UK.

Any help on this matter, would be most appreciated. I can say for sure I trust every body here in Thailand, and my thoughts are maybe it's best to wait till I am back in the UK. In any case I still would like to know of any Breitling authorized repairers or dealers, in the bangkok area, if you have an address and phone number that would be very helpful in my quest.

Many regards

According to Breitling.com there is a maintenance sentre in Bangkok:

Pendulum Ltd
Maneeya Center
9th Floor
518 / 5 Ploenchit Road
Lumpini Patumwan

I would definitely get it seen to - it isn't going to get better!

Nana Plaza is a good place to get serviced in Bangkok, at least it was last time I was there. Otherwise try the Breitling site for their service center in BK. My advise would be to go to Singapore, there's a Breitling AD in Suntec.

Thank you so much for the information, I will go in to both and see what they are like, and will check out the breitlling web site as a matter of course. Yet again many thanks.

Yes it's unusual, to have come across this problem, it must be a recent problem as last time I did adjust the date it worked just fine, it may even fix itself, so before I travel into BKK, which is always a nightmare parking, I will give it another bash, and see what happens.

Otherwise if I don't own a magic self fixing Breitling, I will have it looked at, as it will bug me.

Many regards
Jason

Well I thought I should post some good news, My self fixing Breitling Chronomat two-tone, has fixed itself. The problem with the date adjustment is working fine, so it may just have been a one off situation, or the owner (me).

Most likely it was me just not doing it right, but in any case I have checked out the maintenance charges and may pop into Pendulum Ltd, as they authorized by Breitling checking on the official Breitling web site. And the maintenance service charges seem to fairly fix around 5,600 to 6,300 Baht and a Complete Overhaul at 14,000 to 15,200 Baht. Which seems reasonable.

Anyway Many thanks

Jason
