Right, forget the Big Bang and Luminor Daylight. I'm set (almost, possibly) on a Motors T as my next watch....cant find any pics of a white dial AND speed bracelet though. Any one with a link / pic etc ? (that Japanese Ling mix and match site doesnt work for me)

Thanks Bnewbie...I was about to reply that that link didnt work either, but it loaded eventually. Thats a good site when it finally loads.
So, white dial it is then when I can afford it:) How much is a used soul worth these days.

Ewen - I know where there's a 6.75 white dial on Speed bracelet up for grabs...

Thanks Sportback but, beautiful though the 6.75 is, I'm gunning for the Motors T. I prefer the engine turned swirl polished bezel and I absolutely love the mix of highly polished and satin brushed case and bracelet. One of the reasons I went for the Blackbird too.

Wow, you're chopping in your 6.75 too??? I thought that was going to be one of your "keepers" Ian?

ewen, hi. i've documented most of my problems here, they all had to do with a faulty date wheel. the date wouldn't fully roll over, i.e., it would hang between numbers. after a few trips to the ad they finally just replaced my movement and gave me a new warranty on it, so i am a happy camper.

Me too - but upon closer inspection (and my g/f who thinks it's really too 'bling' for me...) I find it's just too heavy to wear continuously. I've got used to lighter watches.

I'm still a Breitling fan - and I'm still waiting for my Navitimer - but I'm drawn towards one of two Panerai - the Radiomir 268 or the Luminor 270.
They both have in-house movements, display backs etc. and cost big bucks...and are both beautiful IMHO

Thanks Jason. Sorry to read of the hassle, glad it was resolved. Hopefully a very rare clitch.

Sportback,

You need to sell the Gymnasium wall Clocks instead of the Bentley, get a Super Avenger, sell the Audi and get a BMW 750. Then after about a year you will be OK and will stop confusing and commingling LUXURY items with functional "TOOLS".
