Does anybody know of any reliable/trusted source here in the EU were I can get hold of a black Diver Pro II rubber strap with tang buckle for a Avenger Seawolf in titanium ? I cannot find one here in Italy and the Breitling service centre are quoting 20 days (meaning I have to leave the watch with them for 20 days). Im looking for an original and not a copy.

Help is appreciated.

Why would you have to leave your watch to order a strap? A few weeks to wait for a strap is normal, but you dont need to leave your watch with them in the mean time.

This is what Breitling Italy told me. I need to go to the service center with the watch, leave the watch with them and they order the strap. I asked them what am I supposed to do without a watch for 20 days and they told me that this is the procedure that Breitling head office want them to follow. This is the reason I am trying to find a strap elsewere.

I have to say, that's very, VERY strange.
Maybe if you left some cash deposit they would let you have your watch?
No, it still doesn't make any sense.
That an AD doesn't have them in stock is simply ridiculous. :|

Or at least that the AD orders one in - you shouldn't need to go directly to Breitling Italy to get a strap - that's just bizarre.

The nearest Breitling AD from me is 200Km away. Until Breitling appoint a new AD in Venice or Treviso, the only option I have, according to them, is to take the watch to the Breitling service center in Treviso and wait until the strap arrives.

Ive been looking on the net for a strap but cannot find one.

I can find the Diver Pro I strap at the ex AD's without any problem but I find that the writing Breitling on the strap looks tacky alla Tag Heuer. I have an image in my head of some kid walking down the street with their breitling strap, VW logo necklace and coca cola baseball cap. Dont want to offend anybody, everybody has their own ideas but mine is pretty conservative (dress wise).

Yes the DPII is still pretty hard to get....My AD has to order it as he has none in stock but has a couple of DPI and OR...
My DPII was the first one he had ever seen

I really like this new rubber strap; it puts more emphasis on the watch and less on the strap (like the DPI)

Looks good, much better than the old version. Why did you get the clasp instead of the tang buckle ?

I have a DPI with the tang buckle so I decided to get the DPII with the deployant.
Personally I prefer the deployant....Looks much richer

Thanks but the Avenger Seawolf has a 22 mm lug width, the strap he is selling is 24 mm.

I just had ha look at the diver pro 2 while having lunch with my watchmaker.
And I must say I was very disapointed.

I've had several old style "Breitling" divers and currently have the ocean one with deployant (which I love). But sadly for me they changed where the holes are on the new Diver Pro 2 strap so for me who has really small wrists where I could use the old diver pro on the first or the second hole it´s now to big for me on the first hole.
It seems like they´ve "pushed" all holes 3-4 centimetres down so the holes go almost down to the end of the strap (which for me is stupid as who would use the strap on the last 2 holes??).
I will probably get one for my deployant though but I would have liked one with the buckle.
