Hi Everybody,

My name is Alexander and I am a student of Technical Design and I'm conducting a survey on how Breitling customers percieve the design of Breitling watches.

http://www.watch-survey.tk

This is part of a larger research article about Breitling as a whole. Prior research topics have been to establish where the Breitling yellow color comes from originally. This research topic was discussed at this forum and the answer can be found in the following thread! : viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13025

I would really appreciate if you could take a minute to complete the survey on the website above. I am conducting the survey on this forum because it is a perfect media for me to reach out to many Breitling customers really fast.

And I am sorry i cannot give you anything for participating other than my many thanks.
I will also post the article with the research result on this board when it is completed, for those who are interested.

Best Regards,
Alexander Dramo

I must say that I really enjoyed reading the thread on the color yellow and breitling, but just seeing the word ugly in this topic name drives me insane! I don't expect anyone on this forum would describe breitlings as ugly...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong or out of terms here.
But I must every for everyone I have seen from around 8 years ago when I couldn't afford one they all are gorgious!
I have said all I felt I had to! Sorry but that just pisses me off!

I think it's a hard to classify the brand itself into one of those categories. Given the wide range of models throughout the 4 different classes, you could answer all of the above, with the exception of "ugly." As much as I don't like some of their models, I wouldn't call them ugly.

If you click on the survey it's some questions about a specific watch.

It's most definately a matter of personal taste and I wouldn't go quite as far as ugly but I'm close to that call on least two of the current lineup.

I won't name them as I haven't been around here long enough to Gee people up. :P

Dear members, I see you're a little bit upset about the word ugly. But that's good, I wrote that in the topic to attract your attention to the survey, but infact it does not even appear as a choice in the survey itself, because I am not seeking such a straight forward simple answer as ugly or beautiful, I want to know the Expressions you feel.

And the Breitling used in the survey is considered the most Iconic Breitling model and thus, represents the brands very well.

I am really positive to your reaction, I too would never call a Breitling ugly :D

I have to be honest, I started to look at the survey, did the first two, then got a bit annoyed (sorry, I've never been good at doing these kinds of surveys).

As an alternative, I can offer 3 of my own words that describe the Navitimer: I WANT IT! :lingsrock:

Having participated in the survey and enjoyed the responses on the previous post re: yellow in advertising...can't help but wonder if you'll end up buying a Breitling yourself once your research has been completed (or do you already own one, if so, which one?).

best regards

Well I have always been interested in Breitling, I love watches in general, and everything about airplanes and aviation, I would like to become a pilot, but more as a hobby.

I don't own any Breitlings right now, but as soon as I can afford one, I would buy the Emergency, Navitimer Cosmonaute or the Aerospace, since I'm a gadget freak :D

Thanks for all the replies on the survey, the report is being written right now.. I'll post my results to you here when they are done!
