Hi,

I recenlty bought a Breitling cso. But i am now however thinking of exchanging it for a Super Avenger. The main reason for this is due to the bigger dimensions you get with the sa. I do think though that the cso has a better looking dial. Could any of you recommend if i should stick with the superocean or take the plunge and go for the sa?

p.s - GREAT SITE!!

Many Thanks

Stu

Stu,

Get the SA because you won't rest until you do. Once the Full Ling bug gets you it's only a matter of time so get it over with.

Hi Stu - difficult one. I don't own a CSO but I do own a Steelfish and an SA, and my experience is that the SA makes the Steelfish (which IS a substantial watch) look quite small when they are held next to each other. Worn in isolation the Steelfish is still a big hefty watch, but the SA really does dwarf it. I think the CSO is very slightly smaller than the Steelfish so the difference is likely to be even more marked.

To be honest it's a really personal thing. If the smaller size of the CSO is going to bother you then the SA really is only way to go. However if you can live with the smaller size, then keep the CSO and just save up and buy the SA as well.

As a self-confessed very recent convert to the SA way of thinking, I must admit that the SA brings a definite smile to my face when I take it out of the winder. I really do love it!

Choose the one that makes you not wish you had the other one. Even though you may take a hit selling the CSO, as long as the joy the SA brings outweighs that, you're in good shape and you'll never look back.

stu, i'm afraid once the SA bug bites there is no letting go!
I have a B2 which i really love but once i saw the SA it was the only thing I could think about. Thankfully I took the plunge and can honestly say that it was the best move i've ever made.
It s such a big chunky watch that gets loads of compliments but the main thing is that it looks incredible on the wrist!!

Good luck with whatever choice you make......and a Happy new year to you also!

Patrick

I've had some second thoughts on a black Super Avenger for myself due to the fact the chrono dials are white. I want to add another black dial to my collection. I may lean toward the white dial, but I own a white (silver)Navi-World. I don't know if I'd be happy with two of the same color dials. I just love the size of the Super Avenger. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one.

I just think I wouldn't be comfortable in anything less than a FULL LING. Desicions, desicions.
