My stolen Breitling has been returned. Way back in January of this year I was excited to learn that my Chronomat Evolution that had been stolen from my home in 2008 was recovered by local police. (Even as I provided police with the serial number and put it in a data base they said I have a 5% chance of ever seeing it again, well a word to the wise, keep records should anything happen to your watch ...made me a believer.) I thought I would get it back sooner rather than later and later is was. After 10 months of court red tape, hearings etc. the perp finaly got convicted to 8 years (he had other felony charges against him as well.)
Watch was in excellent shape and working fine.
