So, I ordered the Pro II Ti from America on Wednesday night - paid for priority shipping and tracked it all the way to Stanstead Airport, UK - ETA was 12PM this afternoon (24hours after leaving the US) so I waited in for it but it never arrived. I phoned Fedex UK, and it turns out that the muppets had sent it to a depot 300 miles away as they misread my address....Goodwood Racecourse, as opposed to Goodwood Drive :( So much for Post codes lol.

So it's taken longer to get to my house from the airport 125miles away, than it had to fly it 3000miles across the Atlantic!

I'm not too fussed as they've guarenteed del. for tomorrow AM, and my watch is still at BUK!

Just felt the need to share that :)

Could be worse. Could have been Parcel Farce.

Would probably be in the Outer Hebrides by now!

Awww Steve, i bet your gutted aren't ya?

Mine should be here soon. :nana:

I've decided though im going to move the Seawolf on shortly so long as i can get the "right" Bentley again.

You shouldn't have paid for priority shipping mate, your watch won't be back from BUK for about a month will it?

:lingsrock: :nana:

I was suppose to have my new watch today but checked my UPS tracking this morning to see it was 4 hours away, then updated and showed it had back tracked to 12 hours away, and delayed until Monday. :x

So looks like Monday will be "Watch day!" :lingsrock:

I'm convinced that the more I pay for shipping, the higher the incidence of things like this. Canada Post/USPS has been far more reliable than the higher priced couriers for me.

Glad you'll get it tomorrrow (hopefully) :)

Hehe. I chose the priority shipping as it was only $20 and thought it'd help my cravings!

It turned up this morning; gotta say it looks great!

Now the long wait for the watch to return :(

Forgot to ask, did you have to pay import duty?

I've not received an invoice yet, but I suspect I will. Though Authentic Watches declared the value as $500 as opposed to $595, so I reckon I'll end up paying about £60 max. Bargain.

I'd come to AM with you, but I've gotta take the missus and son out!

Tell me about it - I've just spoken to Andrew, he's not got any in at the moment anyhow so i'll leave it until we go over and just admire the Seawolf with it's new shoes until then.
