You see in the news what happens when we ALLOW "underlings" to do what they want to do and walk around with STRAPS . As Ling MEN we DON'T "ALLOW" anything !!!!!!!!

I dont fully understand, what do I see in the news? What underlings are you talking about?

I think all that metal strapped to you has begun seeping into your blood stream through your pores and has hindered your brain functions.

The GMT Master IIc is an awesome watch, be you Liberal or Conservative(like me)

Hmmm, a fiesty end of the year from Ling Man there!

Anyway, back on the thread - hopefully next year will see a Chronomat Evo of some description for me. I really want one with roman numerals, so I'm torn between the SS with rose gold bezel and black dial on black croco, or one of the new all SS roman numeral equiped ones on a pilot bracelet. (I don't like two tone bracelets all that much, and after messing around with the "configurer" on the Japanese website I can confirm that the ordinary SS bracelet would not go with a two-tone case - hence the black croco).

Alternatively (as I prob can't justify both :( ) I may search out a Bentley Motors with either the black or bronze dial on the speed bracelet. If the Motors T wasn't brushed I'd have considered that, but I really fancy the polished look.

Lastly (and I might get this in addition to one of the other 2 :) ) is a Skyland - slate grey dial on the bracelet.

The Rolex that calls me most is not the GMT Master IIc.. though I like it, but is the Yachtmaster... at the price of it though I think I will have to buy an older one used... I think new this guy is around $10K... and at that price I'd rather get a Flying B.

Actually Sportback I was just trying to get some action going and it worked. And Altair I like these Rolex models that you guy's have been posting pictures of, they are just a little small for me but I think they are cool looking watches. I also like that new Yatchmaster 2. I have always liked Daytona's but again they are just too small for me now. I saw one a guy had on Saturday at my tobacco shop and like I said it was cool looking but just not big enough. It's like the EVO I really like the Gold and Stainless models with the Roman numerals but when I put them on they just seem Unsubstantial. However, I have held on to an old Chronomat just in case I change my mind one day and decide I'd like a smaller watch. The watch is great, it's got a 2 tone Pilot bracelet, a Gold bezel and Gold Arabic numerals but it's really small.

The new Yachmaster is a bad boy, but too rich for my blood. It's the first Rolex to break the 40mm mark.

New Yachtmaster II is 42.6mm, but like most Rolexes, it wears a bit larger than the size:

Acceldebt-Admin nails the question....Yes the new Yachmaster is 42.6mm and Bling88 hits the retail price on it. It's a great looking piece, but I think it's quite overpriced.

It's the price of a nice autombile!

Agreed,

I wouldn't pay that much for it, I could get an all Gold Bentley for less than that. I had no idea they were that much.

Is it really only 42.6mm?? It looks way larger than that in the shop. Personally I prefer the yellow gold version, and that comes in at "only" £11,500 here in the UK. (Hmmmm I'll have two then! ) I love the styling of it as it looks like the first major style change that Rolex have made in years.... but unless they decide to make a steel version I doubt I'll ever get one.
