Hello,

I am looking to sell my 2003 Breitling wings.
Blue face, automatic, rarely used and in near mint condition. I have the black Breitling box, however not the cardboard or the papers as they were lost in a flooded basement incident.

If anyone can help with what this watch would be worth so I can set a fair price it would be much appreciated.

Hmm I am no expert but I will have a go the wings line was never a great seller and so dosent fetch a high premium as the Superocean or other desired watches that said I do like them and would suggest without paperwork and box etc it would be around £500 - £700 add up to £100 with any papers box etc I would certenly offer you a good price for it should you choose to sell.

I'd say around 600-700 quid.
I think the Wings is a really nice watch.
If it was around 42mm and a bit better WR (w/ a screw-down crown), I would want one badly.
That said, its design is still something that I like a lot.

I agree I was looking at a Seamaster but I prefer the wings Id offer a good price if you would ship to the UK or collect and pay cash if you were local

I must admit, I do have a soft spot for my old Wings Quartz. It was the first Breitling I ever bought, and was actually a reluctant purchase.I had had a Tag ripped off my wrist in a street attack and intended to replace it with another Tag. A plane-mad friend convinced me that buying a Breitling instead was a far more sophisticated choice and hence the Wings!

I suppose I should thank him for showing me the error of my ways and guiding me onto the correct path!

My first proper watch was a Tag SEL and I loved it right up until I reada review which said it was a poor mans Breitling it was that review that made me go to a Breitling AD and buy my Aerospace

Thanks for the input guys....I'll have to seriously consider whether I'm going to sell it or not.
Few weeks back I was 100% going to move it, but I decided to wear it again for a week and I had to pry it off to go back to my Cockpit.

Keep an eye out on the board in the next couple weeks, I might come back to my senses and make room for a new face.

As always, I'd suggest looking on eBay, but making sure you filter just on "Completed Listings". If you then look for the ones with the prices in green, it means they actually sold. All the others with the prices in red didn't sell.

The only ones that have sold on the Bay recently are one in Germany (bracelet, no box or papers) that went for £887, and one on a croco strap (no box or papers) that went for £600.

Personally I think the £887 one is a bit too high and probably a lucky sale, so if you expect for between £600 and £800, you'd be quite close to the mark I think.
