Hi folks, hope you're all well. I also posted this on TZ.

I have just acquired a Breitling Navitimer 50th Anniv. (black dial) with the cal 41., which as you know is based on the ETA 2892-A2.

The Flyback hand doesn't always reset to the same place...maybe 2 or 4 secs off 12 (either direction). The minute chrono hand doesn't move to the next graduation when the Flyback hand passes the 60s mark...more like at 30-40 secs?

My question is:
Will a full overhaul at Breitling (which I was gonna do anyway) correct this problem?

TIA

Yes it will. Breitling completely dismantle the movement during a full service so your problem will definitely be fixed. It's also always advisable to specifically mention any particular issues on your coverying letter when you send your watch in, just to make sure they pay it special attention.

Good. I was hoping that would be the case.

I don't know how the chrono's came to be "loose" in the first place; the watch doesnt appear to be abused, especially as the condition of the watch is so good.

Looks like I'll have to put my hand in my pocket once again  and wait
another few months

thanks for the advice
