Hi- I'm new to the Source. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger and buying the 125th Anniversary Navitimer in steel (on a black croco strap). Any opinions on this piece?
Hal

It's a very classic looking piece and I think you've chosen correctly in terms of the croco over the errr....."different-looking" aero-bracelet. The watch itself is a little small for my own personal taste, but if it fits you and looks good, then go for it!

And welcome to BreitlingSource by the way.

I really like the look of the aero!

I am seriously considering this on the LE cosmonaute as my next purchase.

Do you think the bracelet suits the cosmo 'space' watch more than the navi?

I was in full agreement, about the new stainless aero bracelet....until I saw the 125th Anniversary Navitimer for real. My AD got one in few weeks ago - with the bronze dial (I think that's what the colour is called) - and the whole watch was absolutely gorgeous. The dial was almost really a champagne colour, and I thought that the bracelet suited is perfectly. As the bracelet is so limited - to these LE models - that is the way I would go. I went back two days later, and the watch was gone. I don't even see them on the Breitling website anymore, but I guess they are still available.
This edition Navitimer is not everyone's taste, I realize, apparently because the dial is just too simple for a Navitimer. However, that is one of the things that really attracted me to it. A beautifully done timepiece!
Cheers,
Carl

Well I pulled the trigger on the 125th Anni Navitimer on a black croco strap.
I liked the slightly less busy dial. As for the case size, I just can't wear some the larger Breitling watches. I have a slender wrist. I did get a super deal from an AD so I couldn't be more pleased. I will post some pics soon.

While I don't particularly like the bracelet, if I were buying the watch I'd definitely take the bracelet and buy the additional strap if that's what you like.

People looking to buy this second hand down the line will expect the new bracelet I think. Great watch choice btw - I think the dial is just stunning.

you know I think thats a good point Jay. I think even though the bracelet isnt really my thing its part of the 125th for a reason ya know. I buy bracelets anyways but still when I first saw this watch I thought I would get a classy leather strap of some sorts but I think the bracelet is def the way to go, it kinda fits the different dial look of the 125th

Somebody at WUS who bought the 125 with the bracelet said its the most comfortable bracelet he's ever worn.

Wow looks great. My only concern is that bracelet does not look very flexible maybe its just the way i'm looking at it or the camera angle but the watch looks great if i already didn't own a world i would of get it but on the crock deployment buckle.. Looks great enjoy the watch and :welcome: to this great forum.

I love that dial! I mean a navi is suppose to be a busy dial I know but for some reason this more simple version is just hot!

Agreed. The dial is very nice, but I just can't get to grips with that bracelet....... and that's after seeing one in person and trying it on at my AD. It's a real "love it or loathe it" kind of thing.
