Hi All,

Noticed a few weeks back that some changes were made to the Avenger Skyland such as the name change to simply Avenger and also the addition of a silver/white dial to replace the blue dial. However today i've just read on another forum about the addition of baton dials for the Avenger.

My take on this. The SA is by everything i've read, Breitlings best seller by a mile. What better way to sell more of this massive piece then to make an identical smaller version. So it appears as though its now a Super Avenger 48mm (Batons and Stencil) and Avenger 44mm (Batons and Stencil). I should say virtually identical though. The bezels are different and the black baton Avenger (not SA) has off white subdials unlike the SA baton black dial which has black subdials.

Not sure if the SA is the best selling model (the Chronomat used to be) but I can see the logic of unifying the styling of the Avenger and Super Avenger.

The new Avenger looks good!

I like the batons on the SA but for some reason I don't on the AS :?

There is a Blue dialed version on the Breitling website under the "Version" tab but for some reason it's not shown on the "Configurator"

I only bought my AS 2 weeks ago. It would have been nice to have seen the difference and had the choice of which one to purchase. I didn't realise this new Avenger model was coming out. more homework was needed first I guess

I stand corrected - I rarely ever see the Chronomat in the wild but the SA is quite common.

Thanks for clarifying fellas.

The "Avenger" has been out for a few months now.
