The Breitling Watch Source Forums

I haven't come across a thread featuring this combo so I decided to post some pics. I had placed the order for the diver Pro II/OR deployant when I had ordered the Avenger Seawolf Chrono(pics coming soon). Luckily, both the watch and strap arrived on the same day. The AD also advised that the diver Pro II is available on regular tang type buckle as well.

Initial impressions are that its a nice looking, simple and thick rubber strap which will likely appeal to those looking for a more understated look. One will also notice that the underside isn't grooved like the diver pro 1 and Ocean Racer straps are. Based on my experience with smooth surfaced rubber straps, I feel that Breitling may have chosen to go this route in order to achieve a bracelet like feel, where the watch tends to slide up and down the wrist more freely.

Having owned the Ocean Racer rubber strap as well, I feel that the OR is much more interesting to look at when compared to the DP II. I hope Breitling decides to offer the original Diver Pro in deployant form as well.
